Especially as Image Line said they are going to focus on FL 13 after they release a stable version of FL for Mac and I wouldn't want to pay $188 for FL Studio 12 and then have to pay again for 13 like an idiot. If I got the student version from say Sweetwater would I still be fully eligible for posting on the forums, getting tech help, getting future updates, etc? I am guessing the answer is yes but I want to make sure I don't have to buy straight from FL to get these features. I was planning on getting the Producer edition for $200 as it fits my needs / budget best but the student edition seems to essentially be the Signature edition for $188. I am a bit skeptical about using a third party reseller although it seems like this is the only option if I want to use the student discount.
